Apply for Golden Holtan Mini-Grant

The West Virginia Council of Teachers of Mathematics awards a $400 mini-grant for classroom projects. Teachers in public or private schools in West Virginia who are members of the West Virginia Council of Teachers of Mathematics are eligible. Members of the WVCTM Executive Committee are not eligible to apply.

  • The award will be given at the banquet for the WVCTM conference. Please plan to attend if possible.
  • Preference will be given to members who have not recently received the award.
  • One proposal per member per year, please.

The Golden Holtan is named in honor of Dr. Boyd Holtan, a retired mathematics education professor from West Virginia University and a long-time active member of WVCTM.
