WVCTM Spring Conference Keynote Speaker: Tracy Zager

Tracy Johnston Zager has worked in many schools over the course of her career, first as a fourth-grade teacher, then as a supervisor of pre-service teachers and their in-service mentors, and currently as a math coach. Becoming the Math Teacher You Wish You’d Had grew out of Tracy’s work in classrooms, where she’s most in her element, learning together with teachers and students over time. Poster Session Submissions

Have an idea or strategy you’ve been working on in your classroom that you’d like to share with others or get some feedback on? Consider presenting a poster at the WVCTM Conference!

For the 2025 conference, WVCTM will again provide the opportunity for conference attendees to share and learn about ideas—a poster presentation session being held over both lunch sessions (in lieu of other breakout sessions).

While presenting a poster will not come with the same complimentary registration benefit as leading a session, WVCTM will arrange and cover the cost for the printing of the poster. Poster submissions (using a provided template) will be due Friday, February 28. Poster presenters would be able to retrieve their poster at check-in at the conference.

Update to Bylaws/Constitution

At our next Business Meeting, on March 14, 2025, we will be voting to approve an amendment to our Constitution. In an effort to preserve the continuity of an organizational historian, the Board is proposing making the Historian position appointed rather than elected for two year terms. The full text of the amendment can be viewed by the membership here in preparation for our vote.
