Each year, WVCTM hosts a nationally-recognized speaker for our Fall Virtual Webinar. This opportunity is free to West Virginia educators. On November 17th, we will be joined by Howia Hua.
Howie Hua is a math instructor at Fresno State University known for his viral, accessible math education content on TikTok and X (formerly Twitter). Passionate about humanizing mathematics, he teaches future elementary school teachers and advocates for showing everyone they are “math people” by focusing on conceptual understanding, visual learning, and reducing math anxiety.
